Heather, it sounds like you’ve found you way. 40 is going to be great! I’m proud of you for letting go of what others think and doing what you guys feel is best for your family. Having a child with autism is something that we share. It can be trying and without a good support system it’s very hard and often draining. We’ve been considering a move so we can have family around for that type of support. Best wishes to you and your beautiful family! Happy Birthday (late) and cheers to many more!
Yep! Draining is exactly right! We REALLY miss Seattle and the community we found there but it was the best move for us. We had our first weekend without kids in over a year this weekend and really needed it! I can’t express what it means having that support system around! As much as where I live right now isn’t exactly my jam, it’s so good for him. In the end, that makes us all happier!

The fact that you predicted it shows how much of a fashionista really you are…get it girl! I need those velvet pants!! I don’t know, however, if I can pull off the velvet jogger style. Do they have them in a tighter (legging) or looser (quasi-flare) fit?
OMG!!! Sold! I have been debating with the velvet joggers for a while now and you made a case for them girl! Looooove all the looks! My fave face is the wild card one though so I will just leave now and go buy a good pair to add to my wardrobe. Thank you!!! 😘😘
I love joggers! I haven’t worn some in a long time and these are fab! I love how you styled them with those red shoes! I have some similar. Well done !

Heather, you have brought tears of joy to my eyes and warmth to my heart, I can’t say Thank You enough as there really aren’t words to express how much your post means to me! You captured me, my passion and my jewelry in a way I hadn’t seen before, but have always wanted to become… It’s like that moment when you look in the mirror and know all you have endured is for the betterment and benefit of helping others in their journey…
Your words are eloquent, thoughtful, honest, and so uplifting! I enjoy experiencing your passion of writing, you truly are an artist that I am grateful to have as a friend, Crystal Blessings sweet friend
Really good, Heather, and along my line of thinking, as well. I got lost in social media when we moved to Seattle because I was homesick. But my family and I ultimately suffered for it. So great that you guys got the ball rolling in your neighborhood!

July 12, 2018 at 9:12 pmNice, girl!!! My last post was that long ago, too. Sometimes living life and tackling big projects means the fun stuff like writing and posting gets pushed to the back. And that’s okay. I’m happy for yout and excited to hear what’s to come! 😃💫
